Sarah is an artist and educator who is preoccupied with what happens when generative digital processes and handmade materiality intersect.

Sarah holds a BFA in Photography from College For Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI. A Michigan native, Sarah spent many years as a faculty member at the College for Creative Studies, teaching and developing curriculum for both students and industry professionals. During her years in Detroit she also served as a founding member of OMNICORPDETROIT; the city’s first collectively-run hackerspace.

Sarah is currently based in Cambridge, MA and serves as Assistant Professor and Digital Fabrication Studio Director at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA. Her work is shown regularly in gallery spaces across the U.S. and is published internationally.
